In Fire Vortex, the figure is both held and dissolved by a violent spiral of light. Long strands of orange, amber and red sweep around the body, turning motion into pure energy. The face remains just legible, a still point inside the combustion, while the rest of the form is rewritten by light.

Created through long-exposure and light-painting techniques, the image captures a single moment of kinetic force rather than a conventional portrait. The tight framing intensifies the sensation of being drawn inward, leaving no external context—only the vortex and the body it claims.

Printed with a white margin on Hahnemühle Rag Satin, a museum‑grade fine art paper known for its soft surface, rich tonal depth, and archival stability.
